Jordan Lynne Pruitt, the famous pop musician, already has two albums under her belt and is currently working on her third album. The twenty year old musician, who hails from Tennessee, made a big name for herself in 2006 when she was signed to Hollywood Records, following her discovery by the famous producer Keith Thomas. Keith is a Grammy Award-winning producer and singer with more than 40 number-one songs featured on the Billboards. Long before the official release of her first single (Outside Looking In), more than 600,000 people had already listened to the song on her MySpace page.
Her success in the music industry makes many people ask where she came from. Her passionate story is driven by familial influences and the desire to follow her heart from a very young age. She also attributes her success to her religious background, which according to her, has played a crucial role in shaping her music career.
Jordan was born in Georgia on May 19, 1991 to a Christian family. Her father was a song and worship leader in the church. She did not take long to realize that she was born to sing. At the tender age of ten her talent in singing was quite evident as she sang with her father. Afterwards, she took to the stage with big crowds without fear. She sang in front of thousands of people in famous places like Centennial Olympic Park, Stone Mountain, Six Flags Over Georgia and the Fox Theater in Atlanta. She wrote her first song when she was nine years old, and from there there was no stopping her.
Her career-defining moment came when Jordan Pruitt walked into a Nashville studio in 2006. While there, she recorded demos that eventually propelled her to sign a deal with Hollywood Records. Interestingly, it was Keith Thomas who offered her this lifetime opportunity. Keith runs a Nashville-based production and artist Management Company named Levosia Entertainment. He was deeply touched by Jordan’s demo and did not hesitate to call her into his studio in Franklin, Tennessee. She then signed to Levosia Entertainment, before moving to Hollywood Records.
